Visitors can view an exhibition of paintings, sculptures & photography at Gallery Sumukha, based at Alwarpet, Chennai-18. The gallery focuses on promoting Indian Contemporary Art. And creating art awareness and Indian Contemporary Art, Sumukha has organised exhibitions and art camps both within and outside India. The gallery has taken shows to the UK and USA and has plans to promote Indian Contemporary Art in other parts of Europe and South America. In addition to these activities, Sumukha hosts an exhibition of a particular artist every month, providing a platform for the works of senior, established artists as well as young, talented artists. The gallery stocks a vast selection of high quality art in all mediums and offers an excellently flexible floor area for varied forms of art displays and events. Sumukha recently expanded to open a corresponding Gallery at 187 St Mary’s Road, Alwarpet, Chennai.
