Police Warning To Caution Beach Goers


Incidents of drowning have increased along the Marina Beach and Elliots beach stretch. Shortage of lifeguard teams and rescue personnel’s have not helped swimmers who enter the sea at their own risk. In order to avoid and prevent any incidents of drowning at the Marina Beach and Elliots Beach in Besant Nagar , the Chennai city police have erected a big size warning board  to caution the visitors at the marina Beach about the dangerous of deep sea swimming and bathing because of the rough sea. 

The police will also patrol the seashore to advise and prevent the visitors from going deep in to the seawaters which is dangerous. Police officials also make frequent checks along  the Marina Beach and at Besant Nagar beach to ensure safety of  public. The famous Marina Beach, Chennai is one of the longest beaches in the world.
