New exhibits and latest facilities at I.C.F Museum
The Railway artifacts of heritage value are today well preserved maintained due to the development of Railway Museums. The ICF Regional Railway Museum has now lot of new attractions for the visitors. The out door gallery has more locomotive exhibits and better facilities. The outdoor gallery has old steam engine, diesel and electric locomotive, Coaches, Wagons and other artifacts of the yesteryears, which are a testimony for the entrepreneurship, skills and innovativeness of the Railway men. The ICF Regional Railway Museum was established in 2002, Chennai, has an Outdoor locomotive exhibit gallery and an informative indoor gallery.
There is also an exciting Joy Train ride awaiting the visitors which takes them around the museum premises through a fascinating narrow gauge track. For the enjoyment of the children visiting the museum few play items are installed in the Children's Park. The Souvenir Gallery displays a variety of Souvenirs and train models for sale.
