Inner Wheel Club of Madras next-gen and ARIVUKKAN science magazine jointly organised student’s awareness programme at Chennai Middle School, Royapettah as part of Independence Day Celebration.After flag hoisting by HM.Mrs. Thenmozhi, a talk on general hygiene by Mrs.dhanya impressed the audience. She also stressed the need of education and women's role in empowering the society. Mrs.Nikharika honoured the best students of the month July- V.Brindha (8th class) and P.Gokul (5th class) with merit certificates and gifts.
This project of honouring two best students per month based on 5 criteria’s such as education, cleanliness, personal Hygiene, discipline and proper attendance. The Inner wheel club also wishes to train students every week on spoken English coaching, collage arts and providing health kits to all students.Chennai District coordinator, National Green Corps Mr.G.Thangaraj presented a sapling for Plantation in school campus and assured the students for a nature walk into a nearest Eco Park with the coordination of ARIVUKKAN magazine.
