Investiture Ceremony

 Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School, T S Krishna Nagar, with the view “Students of today are the visionaries and torch bearers of tomorrow”, celebrated its Investiture Ceremony on 26th June 2018. It marked a significant beginning of the new academic session. Senior Principal, Smt. Jayanthi Rajagopalan, and Chief Guest, Shri. Madhubalan, IAS, State Rank 2, All India Rank 71 in the UPSC exam-2017 graced the occasion. It was a proud moment for every Velammalian as Shri L. Madhubalan IAS is also an alumini of Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School.

 

The chief guest quoted that “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them” to motivate the young leaders. The class monitors and assistant monitors, the school captain and vice captain, Sports Council Members, The Uniformed Services – Bunnies, Cubs and Bulbuls, Scouts and Guides, JRC, RSP, and NCC leaders for the session 2018-19 were honoured with badges by the chief guest. The Cheran, Cholan, Pandian and Pallavan House masters and mistresses dressed in splendid house colours added grandeur to the event. The House Masters and Mistresses along with House Captains and Vice Captains, School Pupil Leader and Class Leaders for the session 2018-19 took pledge to devote the best of their ability, knowledge, power and discipline in their duty. It was a memorable occasion for the young leaders as they look forward to a new and enriching academic session.
