Carnatic musician par excellence

Sri Krishna Sweets jointly with Sri Aryakkudi and K V Narayanaswamy Memorial Trust organised the 16th Anniversary Day Celebration of Padmashree Sangeetha Kalanidhi Palghat Prof Sri K V Narayanasamy at Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore.Sri. H.S. Prashanth presented a vocal concert accompanied by Sri.N.C. Bharadwaj in Mridangam and Sri. Krishna Sriram in Ghatam followed by lighting of kuthuvillaku by Chief Guest Kalaimamani Dr. Rukmani Ramani and Guest of honour Sri. M. Murali, Managing Director, Sri Krishna Sweets and Smt. Kala Murali. Kalaimamani Dr. Rukmani Ramani in her speech said Sri. K.V. Narayanasamy strictly adhered to pitch and spoke about his unique poignant rendition that was distinctive. 
 
Sri K.V. Narayanaswamy's singing bore his master Ariyakudi's Bani and over the years he evolved a unique style of his own. Strict classicism and blemishless singing are some of the obvious facets of his music. Sri. K.V. Narayanaswamy compositions were very clear and perfect. He was a pleasant personality with a good voice and musical talent, he added. There was 'Guruvandanam' by the disciples of Smt. Padma Narayanaswamy followed by Harikatha Pravachan by exponent Godha Gana Mani Kanchi Kamakoti Peedam Aasthana Vidhwan Embar Sri Kasthuri accompanied by Anayampatti Sri. G. Venkatasubramanian in Violin and Chethalapathi Sri. B. Ganapathiraman in Mirudangam.
