Ms.Nihariha and Ms.Meghna ,Executives,Inner Wheel club inaugurated the 79th annual Day of Chennai Middle School,Royapettah,in the presence of Asst Educational officers Mr.Thandapani & Mrs.chithra by honouring the 39 students who excel in sports conducted by Chennai Corporation.
This school has become gradually a eco friendly school by avoiding plastics and keeping a herbal garden. The well wishers from Royapettah encouraged all students by providing them with a gift, refreshments, Snacks and stationery in the presence of G.Thangaraj Dist coordinator, National Green corps(NGC).

This school which has witnessed 2 chief Ministers and 3 Mayors in the 79 years has made field trips to Adayar Ecological Park, Nanmangalam Forest Walk and students has participated in competitions conducted by Govt Dental college,WWF-India and Environment Department.
Cultural events were performed by all students from LKG to 8th standard. It is assured that all bright students will be provided free education till their higher studies as per the Chennai Corporation announcements and also a travel into sea by as ship is planned with the coordination and guidance of Coastal Security Group for the students who excel in their studies. HM Mrs.Thenmozhi proposed vote of thanks.
