Sumeeth and Sangeetha had a beautiful wedding on 10th December 2017 in a wonderful eco-friendly manner at Food Village Garden, ECR, Injambakkam. The couple decided to have their wedding this way in order to create awareness on a large scale, about eco-friendly and vegan lifestyle options.
At the eco-friendly wedding which happened, there were no silk, leather, ghee, honey or dairy products. The ceremony took place in day light to reduce electricity consumption. Moreover gold was minimised and thread jewellery was used. Delicious vegan food was served for all the guests.
The gifts amounts were donated to Animal Welfare Organization. Vegan stalls, health stalls n games were arranged. Vegan butter scotch ice cream was also served and a eco-friendly bike was launched on the occasion.
The special guests who had attended the wedding ceremony and blessed the couple were Nandita Shah Founder of SHARAN (recipient of the prestigious Nari Shakti Award 2016 ,for her pioneering work in the field of health and nutrition ), Aviram Rozin, Founder and International director of Sadhana Forest, Raghav Television Actor, RJ Kaykay ( Hello FM). Wishing the couple a happy married life and God’s blessing always.
