Chennai District National Green Corps (NGC) conducted an Environmental awareness campaign for Corporation School students. The students accompanied by teachers were taken to Pallikaranai Marsh land. The different variety of birds were explained to the students by Ranger Mr.Ravikumar. Students eagerly witnessed the birds , their colours and their habitats etc.
G.Thangaraj Dist.Coordinator ,Environmental Information Dissemination Centre(EIDC), Chennai coordinated the students from various schools. Around 55 persons (students and teachers) went to Nanmangalam Forest in Kanchipuram District and ACF Mr.Mithra Jothi Pandian explained the students about the flora and fauna in the forest along with Ranger Mr.Laxmana Kumar.
