Planet (Perungudi Lake Area and Neighbourhood Environmental Transformation) had organised the 2nd Perungudi Lake festival in a grand manner on 12th February 2017. As part of the festival there was a photo exhibition highlighting the various improvements of the Perungudi lake. Competitions, cultural programmes, traditional dance and variety entertainment by children were also held. The lake festival drew a huge crowd and ended on a successful note by driving the message of preserving nature for a secure future.
