The city of Chennai has many road side parks and traffic islands. This reduces the carbon-di-oxide content in the atmosphere. The Corporation has installed a fountain in a traffic island near the Besant Nagar MTC bus terminus but it is not activated for days. The fountain is lying neglected and forgotten. If the water fountain if activated will certainly a feast to the eyes.
