World Earth Day observed

Earth Day is an annual event, celebrated on April 20, on which day events worldwide are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It was first celebrated in 1970, and is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network.Tree Bank had observed and celebrated World Earth Day on 20.04.2016. As a part of the celebration Tree Bank joined with MCR Avenue Residents welfare association and conducting tree plantation program at  No. 24 A, 3rd Street, MCG avenue, Pachaiyammal Salai, Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai on 20.04.2016.This Earth Day and beyond, let’s make big stuff happen. Let’s plant 7.8 billion trees for the Earth. Let’s divest from fossil fuels and make cities 100% renewable. Let’s take the momentum from the Paris Climate Summit and build on it.Let’s start now.
