Velammal students are achievers in academics and sports. Most of the students are good in games and they have won many tournaments bringing name and fame to the school. Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School main Throwball Girls team ( Under – 17 Category) had won the CM Trophy Championship held on 18th Feb 2016.
