Velammal showers accolades on the Junior National Chess Champions, Vaishali of Std IX who turned victorious with a cash award of Rs. 22,000/- on the final day of the Junior National Chess Championship at Dindigul PSNA Engineering College held between 23rd July 2015 and 31st July 2015 Next in the line is G.K. Monnisha of Std XII bagged the II Place with a cash award of Rs. 17,000/-, G.K. Mahalakshmi of std XII notched up the V place and V. Varshini of Std XII came in the VI place. They are selected to take part in Exposure Trip very shortly.
Among the boys’ championship VR. Aravind Chidambaram of std XI clinched the I place with Rs. 26,000/- and Karthikeyan Murali bagged the III Place with a cash award of Rs. 14000.The above Junior National Chess champions are spurred to give their best by their selection in Asian Junior chess Championship – 2016 and world Junior Chess Championship – 2016 to represent Indian Team.
