The Student Council Investiture Ceremony of Valliammal College For Women, Anna Nagar East, Chennai, was held on 22nd July 2015 in the college auditorium. Maj. Dr. M. Venkatramanan, Principal and Head, Department of Economics, D. G. Vaishnav College, Arumbakkam, Chennai, Member Syndicate, University of Madras was the Chief guest.
He Administered the Oath of office and advised the members of the student council and other student community gathered there to develop leadership qualities and stressed on the importance of Women Empowerment. The College Principal Dr. T.V.S. Padmaja was present on the occasion. The President of the college Ms.V.Pavithra, along with her crew of other 58 council members assured that they would maintain the decorum of the college and their might effort for growth of the institution.
