Messengers of Peace

Bharat Scouts & Guides Ponneri District of Tamil Nadu conducted an educational programme titled “Free Being Me And Messenger of Peace” to all the scouts and guides of 5 to 18 age group. The main objective of the programme was to increase body confidence and self esteem through fun and non formal activities and responsibility to create a peaceful community to live in.

The following activities were conducted image Myth, mirror mirror activity, taking pledge, spreading the world pledge cards, media detectives and friendship note. The entire programme was co-ordinated by Dr.P.E.R.Premchand district secretary & headmaster of the district. G.Jeyachandran, treasurer Mrs.Anuratha doc(G) participated. The national and state needs an applaud in this innovative programme. Around 1100 scouts & Guides participated in 8 zones.
