Dialysis Unit inaugurated at Ambattur Rotary Hospital

TANKER Dialysis Unit was inaugurated by actor Suriya, TANKER’s Goodwill Ambassador, the Cognizant Foundation Wing by Sri. N. Lakshmi Narayanan, Vice Chairman, Cognizant & Director, Cognizant Foundation and the new Dialysis machines by Dr. S. Ramamurthy, Director, Cognizant Foundation and Mrs. N. Rajashree, Chief Operating Officer, Cognizant Foundation at the Ambattur Rotary Hospital 26th October 2014. 

Cognizant Foundation came forward to donate six Dialysis Machines to give free dialysis for underprivileged people suffering from chronic kidney disease. AIEMA and Ambattur Rotary Hospital have very generously given accommodation in their hospital premises. Dr.Georgi Abraham Founder Trustee, TANKER Foundation, welcomed everyone Mrs.Latha Kumaraswami Managing Trustee,TANKER Foundation said that TANKER had started in a small way 21 years ago and now has 42 dialysis machines in their 4 units helping 205 patients and that the new expanded Rekha Memorial Renny Abraham Ambattur Rotary Dialysis Unit was a team effort of TANKER, AIEMA, Ambattur Rotary Hospital, Cognizant Foundation, Suriya and many more donors and well wishers.
