The damaged and waterlogged 100 Feet Road stretch caused severe traffic delays at Thirumangalam junction on Tuesday,1st July 2014. The water logging caused by heavy rainfall during the past few days was the main reason for the traffic snarls. The congestion was eased after traffic police made temporary diversion of vehicles heading towards Koyambedu through 13th Main Road and Shanthi Colony Road.
Police men were busy regulating traffic movement at Shanthi Colony, 100 Feet Road and Mogappair Estate Road. It is a daily ordeal for road users to drive along the damaged spots at Thirumangalam junction. The damaged road surface is causing traffic snarls. The uneven road surface is also causing inconvenience to the pedestrians. Let the concerned authorities take proper measures to repair and blacktop the damaged road surface at the earliest.
