Flyover will ease congestion at Choolaimedu High Road

The signal junction of Choolaimedu High Road, Nelson Manickam Road and Harrington Road is very busy and congested. During peak hours the spot turn chaotic. The residents of Choolaimedu feel that construction of a flyover at the signal intersection in the direction of South and North on the lines of using German mobile flyover technology can ease congestion. 

Mr.S.Kasturi Rangan, Secretary of Choolaimedu Exnora highlighted the need for providing a service road in the Eastern side of Nungambakkam Railway station adjacent to the burial ground just like the one provided along the western side of the subway. Construction of pedestrian subways at Choolaimedu High Road-Nelson Manickam Road junction and at Vadagaram will be a boon for the Choolaimedu area residents.
