Surabi Trust felicitated and thanked well-wishers and supporters and presented Surabi Seva Achiever awards to young social workers on 25thMay 2014. The event was conducted at the Kannada Sangha School in Ayanavaram. Mr.G.Senthil Kumar, Trustee, Child Home, and Logammal, Trustee presented the Achiever awards. Distinguished guests who participated in the function included Sri. Neelakandan, MLA; Sri.V.Nandakumar,IRS, Dy.Commissioner, Income Tax; Sri. Krishna Chander, President, Rotary Club of Chennai Towers and Sri. Sreekumar, President-in-waiting, Rotary Club of Chennai Towers. Surabi’s Annual Report for 2014 was released at the event. Surabi renders aid and support to the needy through a variety of initiatives.
The success of these initiatives is dependent on the support from donors, dedicated staff, as well as the encouragement of Government officials and elected members of the State and Local Assemblies. Surabi presented mementos to nearly 20 people as a token of appreciation for their hard work, guidance and support. The function commenced with a Carnatic music performance by Sri. Raghuraman and concluded with the vote of thanks by Sri. Ravisharma. Surabi Trust is a registered charitable Trust based at Villivakkam.
