Care for children based at No-24/2, 2nd floor, Vellalar Street, Kodambakkam appeals for scrap items, old news papers and other waste items to raise funds for educational support for poor children. M. Subramanian (Managing Trustee) said that trust providing educational support in form uniforms, note books, stationary items and school fee to the needy students and mostly for studying in Government and Corporation schools. He said that scrap items donated by the residents will be collected at the doorstep by the volunteers.
He said that Trust started 3 years back, hundreds of students benefited and last year Rs.20 lakhs worth of contribution donated to the students.
