Free eye camp conducted

Over 100 people had attended and got benefitted from a free eye screening camp conducted by Anglo-Indian Suburban Front along with the Divine Mercy group at Don Bosco Shrine in Ayanavaram on 4th May 2014. The camp was conducted by a medical doctor team from MN Eye Hospital, Tondiarpet, Chennai. Four persons were taken for free cataract surgery after checking the eyesight at the camp. 

The free eye camp was inaugurated by Mr. Augustine Roy Rozario, Founder and President of Anglo-Indian Suburban Front in the presence of Rev Fr Franklin, Assistant Parish Priest of Don Bosco Shrine, Ayanavaram. Mr. Augustine Roy Rozario stated that a souvenir would be released during a function on 31st May 2014 at Egmore to commemorate 10 years of service to the community and also to raise a fixed deposit of Rs 1 Lakh for which the sum interest will be utilized for helping the less fortunate and senior citizens during Christmas every year.
