Civic work in progress at AA-Block

In Anna Nagar area many of the avenue roads and residential streets have storm water drainage facility. At present storm water drainage is under construction and progressing along AA Block, 2nd Street in Anna Nagar. The corner of the street has been dug up and workers are laying the wall. The work which has begun a few days ago is likely to get completed shortly.

Chennai Corporation is constructing storm water drains under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) project. Though the storm water drainage work is getting constructed to clear water stagnation from the road, timely completion of the wok will bring relief to the area residents. Let the civic authorities take measures to complete the drainage construction work, so that the uneven road surface can be blacktopped.
