An Autism Awareness Walkathon was recently organized by Life Healthcare, Mogappair East and The Clinik, Park Road in Anna Nagar Western Extension. The event was a success and was attended by more than 100 supporters. The key speakers of the event were Dr. Parthasarathy, Dr. Karthikeyan, Pediatrician (The Clinik) and Mr. Sunil Kumar Occupational therapist of Life Healthcare. World Autism Awareness Day is regularly held every year with an aim to increase people's awareness about people, especially children, with autism. World Autism day often features educational events for teachers, health care workers and parents, as well as exhibitions showcasing work created by children with autism.
