Tree planting programme conducted at Padikuppam

Tree Bank Environment Team conducted a summer greening camp in connection with Earth Day celebration. About 100 children were selected to distribute plant saplings free of cost. The children were also trained to take care of plants and trees. They were also taught the importance of green trees and saving the environment. 

On 12th April 2014 a tree plant caring programme involving small children was conducted at Padikuppam, Vandiamman Koil Street. Tree Bank gives away free saplings to the public. Tree Bank gives saplings to colleges and schools for study purpose and also to plant in their campus. Mr.Mullaivanam of the Tree Bank Trust always highlights the importance of having trees around residential areas and how each person could make a difference Tree Bank creates importance of trees and how to take care of them for the future. 

Sapling planting programme aims to educate and to protect and improve natural resources. Tree planting programme would improve the environment and provide children and youth with opportunities to care for nature.
