Anna Nagar Third Avenue gets a makeover

Anna Nagar Third Avenue is a major transportation stretch between Anna Nagar, ICF and Koyambedu. The diversion channel work near K4 signal junction has been completed. The dug up road stretch has also been blacktopped. At present a granite stone center median is under construction along Anna Nagar Third Avenue. 

The new divider will help in solving the problem of risky crossing of motorists. In order to reduce accidents on the road, the traffic police have been closing of gaps in the median with barricades and installing reflectors. The new divider which is under construction will facilitate safe and smooth movement of vehicles on both directions. Earlier the median was removed for the construction of the diversion channel project.
