A Delightful Launch Ceremony

A function the launch the book titled Contemporary Facets of the Anglo Indian Community by Dr. Geoffrey Kennath Francis was held on 7th March 2014 at St.Georges Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School premises. The book was released by the chief guest Bishop Prakash, Chairman of State Minorities Commission. The first copy was presented to Mr.S.Muthiah. 

The renowned guest of honour for the launch function were Dr.Prof Armstrong, Head of Department of English, Madras University, Dr.Oscar Nigli, Ex MLA, Dean and Senior Professor, Loyola College, Prof Eugene Pinto, Former Principal Queens Marys College and Dr.Prof.Brian Peppin, Former Professor of English, New College. 

The function was organised by the Anglo Indian Association of Southern India and The Geoffrey Kenneth Francis Education and Charitable Trust. Harry MacLure, Editor and Publisher of Anglos In the Wind, international magazine and Mr.Augustine Roy Rozario, Founder and President of the Anglo-Indian Suburban Front were also present during the book launch function.
