To mark the occasion a safety awareness rally by school students was flagged off at Thirumangalam Traffic Police Station on 7th January 2014.
A large number of students’ holding placards and banners actively participated in the road safety rally which was organized by Thirumangalam Traffic Police together with Tamil Nadu Traffic Wardens Organisation.
The student rally was aimed to create road safety awareness among the public and to follow the traffic rules and regulations. Road safety week is celebrated with great enthusiasm every year in Chennai city to encourage the general public about adopting safe driving techniques while traveling. The aim of celebrating road safety week is to promote the road safety measures.
