Motivating College Students To Promote Greenery

In aim to promote city green cover, college students are taking interest in increasing the green cover of Chennai city.NSS Camp student volunteers in association with Tree Bank have successfully conducted tree sapling projects at various places.

Tree Bank Environment Team provided 150 tree saplings in free of cost and motivated the students to recycle polythene bags by using it for tree plantation. Tree Bank Environment Team trained Alpha College students on natural vegetables cultivation.

This is first natural vegetable garden in college grown by the NCC students. Tree Bank has started to distribute six varieties of natural vegetable seeds to students.
