Chennai City Traffic Police has started an awareness raising campaign to highlight the safety advantages of wearing seat belts and advising motorists to practice safe driving techniques.Traffic Police sources stated that putting seat belts on while travelling in cars increases ones survival.
Thirumangalam Traffic Police had recently conducted an awareness campaign advising car drivers to use seat belts at the signal junction of Ambattur Estate-Mogappair Road and Park Road in Anna Nagar Western Extension.
