The narrow entry lane for vehicles along Anna Nagar Second Avenue near the post office has been creation traffic congestion for the past few weeks. Due to the underground station work for Chennai metro rail project a major part of Second Avenue stretch has been taken leaving just a narrow lane for both vehicle and pedestrian movement.
At some places there is no pedestrian path and people are found walking along the road which has heavy traffic movement.
During peak hours there is long lineup of vehicles waiting to squeeze their way to reach Blue Star junction. The MTC bus stop near hotel Saravana Bhavan has become another chaotic point with vehicles, buses and share autos criss-crossing each other.
Let the Chennai Metro Rail officials and Traffic Policemen take necessary action to widen congested narrow entry spots and clear obstacles that are faced by motorists while driving along Anna Nagar Second Avenue.
