For the past month, motorists struggle to get across Thangam Colony First Street in Anna Nagar West .Vehicles riders find it difficult to drive on the mud after the road was dug up. The area resident stated that the road was dug up more than a month back by the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board to lay water pipes.
When it rains, the entire stretch becomes dusty and mud enters into all the houses situated on the stretch. In order to facilitate a metro water improvement work Thangam Colony Main Road, Anna Nagar West had been dug up for placing pipelines. Navigating the dug up and slushy stretches causes a lot of inconvenience to the road users. Let the civic authorities blacktop Thangam Colony roads.
