Constructing Rain Water Canals At Anna Nagar West Bus Terminus

Every time it rains Anna Nagar West bus terminus presents a very precarious and pitiable scene. The area near the entrance and exit Gate of the bus terminus get flooded and with the net result, the people, especially senior citizens find it very difficult to board the buses inside the terminus.

Moreover the road surface near both entrance and exit gate is lying n a battered and damaged condition. The
terminus has been in a very sorry state of affairs for the past several years and needs modernisation. Mr.V.Nagasundaram, Secretary of Anna Nagar Welfare Association stated that construction of rain water canals on both sides of the terminus will solve the problem of muddy water stagnation.

Let the concerned authorities look into the long pending problem and do the needful immediately before the onset of next heavy monsoon rains!
