Green trees are important,
necessary and valuable for the environment. Trees have lots of environmental
benefits and gives greenery to a locality. Keeping this in mind, a tree sapling
programmed was held at Mogappair. Tree Bank Environment team distributed 30
free Neem tree saplings at Mogappair, Nolumbur on 10-06-2013. The chief guest
for the programme was G Mullaivanam, Tree Bank Founder.
The event organised by
created environmental awareness among the children. Environmentalist and green
activists were also present on the occasion. Chennai based Tree Bank is an
organisation which strives hard to increase the city’s green cover by caring
and protecting trees which has been in existence on Earth for more than a
million years.
Care and protecting trees will ensure Planet Earth's green
