6th Main Road Needs Attention

Anna Nagar 6th Main Road stretch is dotted with residential, commercial and educational institutions. The second entrance to Tower Park is also located along 6th Main Road. 

Despite been a busy stretch there are few obstacles that motorists and pedestrians come across. An open electricity junction box, debris dumped on pavements and haphazard vehicle parking menace makes driving and walking along 6th Main Road very inconvenient. Most of the residents have placed no-parking board in front of their homes to prevent chaos. 

There is an unused vast vacant land next to the tower park entrance which is left neglected and has turned in to waste dump yard. Not surprisingly, most people choose to walk on the road rather than navigate the risky pavements. Surely, Anna Nagar 6th Main Road residents deserve better. 

Be providing safe pavements and obstacle free roads, people would take to walking or even to cycling. Let the concerned electricity board officials close the open junction boxes with a lid and the civic officials clear the dumped debris so as to ensure Anna Nagar 6th Main Road has risk free
