Park Road is a busy and vital link
road which is used by number of motorists every day. The blacktopped road
surface gives vehicle riders a smooth drive.
Installing speed breakers and
fixing of reflectors will curb the menace of over speeding and would ensure
safe driving. The storm water drainage facility at Park Road needs to be
speeded up.
Most of the Park Road area residents stated that at many places there
are open incomplete gaps in the recently built storm water drain. Moreover the
intersection of Park Road and 2nd Avenue is now completely blocked
to facilitate the storm water drain construction. Earlier the storm water
drainage was built higher than the road level. After complaints from Anna Nagar
Western Association the work was redone.
Let the concerned officials take steps
to expedite the storm water drain construction work at the earliest so as to
ensure that the civic work does not obstruct vehicle and pedestrian movement
and not to cause hindrance to the Anna Nagar West Extension area residents.
