A street lamp post
at the entrance of S-Block, 21st Street, Anna Nagar is causing a hindrance to
the road users and area residents.
The slanting lamp poses a serious threat to
vehicles as it is found dangerously leaning towards the road. It is risky at night,
because any motorists can hit the lamp post which lies in a precarious
position. It is not known how the post has been damaged.
The lack of sufficient
lighting compounds to the problem. Motorists find it a great risk to negotiate
the spot. Let the concerned authorities take action to set right the post to
its proper position and also ensure that roads are well illuminated.
