Free Summer Refreshments

As the city reels under the soaring sweltering heat, charity is coming to the rescue of the thirsty. A free drinking water facility was inaugurated at the junction of East Main Road and School Road, Anna Nagar West by the DMK Cadets on 1st May 2013. Buttermilk, cool drinks and watermelons was freely distributed to the public.

The event was held to mark the 90th birthday of DMK Chief M Karunanidhi which is on 3rd June and May Day celebrations 2013.
