Children have an enjoyable time playing in the evenings at
the L-Block Children’s Park and playground. The play equipment has been
renovated and improved. Chennai Corporation has been improving a lot of road
side parks and children’s playgrounds so that the facility is put to best use
by the public.
Chennai Corporation playground at L-Block, Anna Nagar East
attracts a huge number of children during the evenings and holidays. Chennai
Corporation move to improve the playgrounds and parks is welcomed by the area
residents as it improves the extra-curricular skills and sports talent in a
better manner.
According to official Chennai Corporation sources, parks and
playgrounds which are lying in a damaged and neglected condition will be
renovated soon. According to the Anna Nagar area residents, the need of the
hour is to develop more parks and playgrounds so that children will be engaged
in play and recreation activities which are good for health.
