The place surrounding electricity board transformer units seems to be a prime spot for dumping waste materials. Electricity Board officials lament the lack of civic sense among the people. Better fencing or constriction of a high raised compound wall and imposing heavy fines will bring in changes for the better.

A transformer unit along 3rd Avenue, Anna Nagar, near the round tana is been put to multiple misuses. Garbage’s and waster materials are dumped near the transformer unit making the spot ugly. More over the dirty surrounding attracts rodents to thrive. Rodents are a menace because they can chew on the cable wires which can lead to disturbance n the power supply.
