Free yoga classes are being conducted at
Millennium Park in the open ground from August 2011 every morning between 6-00
a.m and 7-00 a.m. Many of the area residents and park users are availing the
facility. As per the Anna Nagar Western
Extension Association members request, Chennai Corporation is in the process of
constructing a Yoga platform in Millennium Park at an estimated cost of Rs.2
lakhs. '
The construction work for the new yoga platform at Millennium Park along
Park Road, Anna Nagar Western Extension is in progress and it will be completed
before March 2013.
