Short Film By Vignesh Kumar Gets Best Team Award!

There are number of brilliant short film directors who have good stories and creative ideas which is required to make the film a super hit. One such film maker is Chennai based Vignesh Kumar, a second year engineering student of CEG, Anna University. His short film titled ‘ONNUKULA ONNU’ produced by Shailender Singh and Siddharth Sridharan is already going places. 

It bagged the best team award at the Bangalore NACT film festival. The film is about two brothers Dev and Dinesh supported by their grandfather Vilvanathan. The film shows their goal and ambition in life. Dev wants to be a cricketer and Dinesh a movie director. But there is sudden change of events in their life when they both attend to natures call in a drunken state on a mysterious statue at a  wrong place and time which results in their souls swaping where dev soul enters into Dinesh’s body and vice versa.  Realizing that things have gone wrong the brothers trying to manage their carriers,girl friends, find the mysterious statue makes the short film very interesting, humorous and worth watching. 

Vignesh kumar has done an excellent job directing the film and so does the cast which includes Devendra kumar, Dinesh Konidala, Lokkesh Sivagnanam, Shailender Singh, Amrutha Srinivasan and Vamsee Deepika. Amrutha is now acting in a feature film called Kurai Onrum Illai. 

Coming to the technicians ‘’ONNUKULLA ONNU’’ is beautifully captured by cinematographer Suadharshan R  with an excellent background music by Anton Zephrin and brillianty edited by Arulmozhivarman for whom the director is all praise for. Big thumbs up to the Upcoming entertainment film director Vignesh Kumar who is a resident of Anna Nagar.
