Construction work for the elevated Chennai Metro Rail station
building along both sides of 100 Feet Road stretch is progressing at rapid
space. Track laying work is also going on along the Koyambedu-St.Thomas Mount
stretch.
The MMDA station will be a boon for the area residents. Externals Structures for metro stations at
Koyambedu, K.K.Nagar, Vadapalani andInterchange station at Alandur is competed
and now work on the interiors is apace. The city’s dream project Metro Rail is
expected to decongest road traffic and to provide a safe, comfortable and fast
public transport facility.
