Grand Celebration At Welcome Colony

A variety of cultural programmes, sports and games and many fulfilled events and competitions for children marked the 20^th Pongal Festival celebration held at Welcome Colony, Anna Nagar Western Extension on 15^th and 16^th January 2013 at the Welcome Ground. 

The Welcome Colony Youth Club was formed in 1993. It is a social, non-profit, voluntary organization rendering yeomen services such as free education, emergency blood donation camps, helping orphanages, rehabilitation centers, blind reading etc. 

The noble gesture of organizing Mass Blood Donation Camps fetched the members of Welcome Colony Youth Club a prestigious Award from the Governor of Tamil Nadu Shri.P.S RamaMohan Rao. The club was awarded for mobilizing maximum number of donors on 15^th August 2001 during a mass blood donation camp at Welcome Colony.
