Ever since traffic on 2ndAvenue,
Anna Nagar was diverted to 3rd Avenue due to Metro Rail and flyover projects,
the signal time for vehicles on 6th Avenue from Tirumangalam side waiting to
make a left turn into 3rd Avenue to go towards New Avadi Road has increased.
The road width is narrow and always
causes traffic congestion along 6th Avenue, near K4 Police Station.
Relocating the traffic signal post
closer to the wall of the police station and also removing an obstructing road
side tree at the corner will help motorists and pedestrians a lot.
