Today’s
youngsters are concerned about the environment. Eco Clubs are formed in
colleges to create awareness among the students for caring and protecting the
environment. Various activities and programmes are regularly conducted by Eco
Club members to do something positive about the environment and safeguard
Planet Earth.
Go Green, Save Earth Campaign was recently held recently in
Valliammal College for Women.Anna Nagar East,Chennai. The event was organized
by Eco club of Valliammal College. Students actively participated and
voluntarily contributed varieties of flowering plants and saplings.
The
Chairman,A.P.Maikandan inaugurated the function. Academic Advisor DR.S.Valavan
and the College Principal, DR.T.V.S. Padmaja motivated the students to keep the
environment eco friendly.
