Many Anna Nagar Roads Water-Logged After Heavy Rain

On Saturday, 29^th December 2012 many roads in Anna Nagar area were waterlogged due to continuous heavy rainfall. Vehicle traffic movement along Inner Ring Road near Koyambedu was affected due to water logging.Water stagnating near Thirumangalam bus stop  made it difficult for passengers to get in or get off buses. Many parts of the city might have seen only intermittent showers on Sunday but there was no end to the motorists distress due to waterlogging and potholed roads. 

Residents across various localities in Mogappair, Anna Nagar, Choolaimedu and Villivakkam were concerned about access to the main road being impeded by waterlogging and potholes on the road.The situation was no different in other parts of the city. Motorists and pedestrians had a tough time negotiating traffic in the vicinity of reputed IT companies on Taramani Link Road.
