Anna Arch the famous landmark
of Anna Nagar now has a beautiful and colourful, thanks to the excellent
restoration work undertaken by the State Highways Department. The twin arches
sports an attractive look along Poonamallee High Road.
The first arch has been
completely painted. The Highways Department has now started to paint the second
arm of Anna Arch. Within a short time Anna Arch will look colorful and well illuminated
at night
. The statue of former Chief Minister C.N. Annadurai has been given a
fresh coat of paint. The entire renovation work will be completed soon.
