Traffic Congestion Continues In Ayanavaram Road

It is unfortunate that Ayanavaram road which has been widened by the Bus Route Roads department (BRR) in Chennai Corporation has restricted free movement of traffic with formation of a barricade fence.  A fence was erected between Medavakkam Tank Road and Raji Street junction to avoid parking of vehicles adjacent to IMH and Kilpaulk pumping station compound wall.
There are three schools, Churches, Seminaries and temples located along Ayanavaram Road. K Ramadoss, Social Activist stated that the road users find it an ordeal to traverse along the congested stretch of Ayanavaram Road. Further, more the TASMAC retail outlet with an open bar located at the junction of Ayanavaram road and Raji street causes a hindrance to public movement.
