Free Rice Bags Distributed

RMD Pain and Palliative Care Trust distributed 5 kg rice bags to 200 palliative care patients in Periyapalayam during the monthly review screening program as part of Deepavalli celebration. 

Dr. Republica Sridhar told that the Trust has been provide free out patient and home care treatment and providing medicines for the palliative care patients under the National Rural Health Mission project since February this year. 

Dr. Republica thanked NGO’s, philanthropist and individuals for the contribution for rice bags and other amenities. She further stated that the Trust has been providing pain treatment and palliative care to needy persons for the past 18 years.

She also runs ‘Karuna Sagar’ in 4/126, Krishna Nagar, 1st Main Road, Maduravoyal and in Madurai, each of which provides free terminal care for 20 patients.
